One screwed up week.
Hurricane Katrina
Brian dies in a motorcycle crash up in Lyme that I almost went to.
The President of my synagogue dies in an auto wreck Thursday night.
And the anniversary of 9-11 is tomorrow.
Tragic time of the year it seems. |

I figure I might as well update this stupid thing. Last night I drove up to Enfield for Laura's kick ass suprise brithday party. I only knew 3 people there but it was still lots of fun. Excellent card show even though I kept pissing dan off ;p. Then I got home at 1:45 after searching around for a gas station in the middle of the night and then dileriously driving down 9.
Today was pretty lazy, had Nate and the fam over. Terra's due about now so were all waiting for the trip to the hospital. My dad figures it'll be tommrow because it's going to snow tommorow, and that would just be our luck. Then dropped dave at the train station, went home and watched second hand lion's(great movie). and then here I am. |

The last two days have been great. Great party at katie's, spent a few hours baking cookies beforehand. We guarded the stairs while aj was having his "moment" "I'm so proud of him, he's no longer a middle school boy" - me. Stayed up till 4 talking about random shit with joe and ben. We all developed slot machine gambling addictions too, emily emptied the machine.
Then today, I woke up at katies, had some pancakes, went home and showered, and then drove up to east hampton for the time of my life. I'm going out with sam, she's wonderful, in the words of my friend ashley I'm "on cloud 9." She's going to have a party either this up-coming weekend or the one after that so that should be great.
Now theres school, dammit. |

So I finnally decided to update since this is the first thing of substance that has really happened all vacation.
For christmas I got some skiis, yay for me. But onto the subject at hand.
Tonight I had the first semi-bonding experience I've had with my brother...ever. Went to the hibatchi grill in saybrook, the chef lost hold of his spatula while he was twirling it and it went flying strait at me. Then off to the theater an hour early where I kicked my bro's ass at the boat racing game. Saw the Life Aquatic, which I recomend to anyone, because it's fricken hilarious. It's just so well put together.
So ya that was my night. Going to katie's party tommorow that should be fun.
Theres this girl sam, in east hampton, I dont know how it's going to pan out, but I'm just going to go with it. |

well had 2 AP tests today, and 2 presentations tommorow, all while being completely sick, jeez. I got a 59 on the APUSH test, thats better than I thought I would get since I was guessing at all the questions
on the plus side I got a 1410 on my SAT's, yay for me, somehow I got a 730 verbal, dont know how I pulled that off. |

just watched "No Way Out" on A&E, thats a great movie. Excellent twists that leave you going "ok, wtf just happened?" by the end. Weekends been pretty good. Lindsay's party on saturday and FD party on sunday. Helped nate move the book shelf he made to his apartment, and picked up some chinese on the way back. I have so much work due in the next 3 days, it feels like were all in some sort of sadistic stress study, kinda like mice in the maze with rotten cheese at the end. |

yes that time stamp is correct, right as I was settling down to do my APUSH presentation a mutual aid call went out for this fiberglass plant in east lyme. I was pretty cool, when we pulled up there were flames 30 feet in the air and 55 gallon drums were exploding randomly. We checked the surrounding buildings for embers and had to hit one tree with a hose since it had caught fire. Niantic and East lyme both had their ladders going, a sight to see. Ended up getting home at 2:30 and here I am doing h/w at 3:30, who needs sleep anyway?
I'm tired, dirty, I smell like smoke, spent 4 hours working in below freezing temperatures, and I'm going to get 2 and a half hours of sleep tonight but, I feel good. I guess it's just one of those things. |

Friday was fun, went to the sub school x-mas party, took pics of drunken sailors for money with nate, always good fun.
Saturday was a relaxing day of nothing.
Sunday went and volunteered with Ileen (cant spell her name) cecily and michele at the lego conpetition in hartford. Then went shopping for x-mas gifts, got dave america the book, it's so great. Then drove home. Oh ya, I hit 100 on going down 9 on the way home, lots of fun.
This is bliss....

well I'm sick, came home yesterday and collapsed for most of the day, then slept from 9:30 last night until 10 this morning. missing the AP chem test, have to find time to make that up now. At least I have time to do stuff I didn't do last night.
Excited for tomorrow, working as a photographer's assistant for my friend Nate at the Sub base christmas party, should be lots of fun. |

Days as usual, stayed up till 2 last night because I'm that much of a procrastinator. Health was interesting, there was this big black dude who explained that "vaginal secretions are a man's best friend", which I'd have to agree with since they do "tell you your doing a good job" lol. The there was this poor woman with aids, she had been a heroin addict most of her life, raped and abused by her father, really a sad story.
I'm rather pissed I missed the play crew meeting yesterday, dam errands.
I've got an SAT test saturday morning, but hopefully saturday night will make up for it. |

Just got back from breault's parent's house, the study session was interesting. There was alot of beer/alcohol in the fridge though. Lots of heiniken and a bear sized bottle of absolut vodka. |
